Toll-Free Texting Campaign Verification Form

Toll-Free SMS verification is a process that ensures that a toll-free number (TFN) can send text messages. It's a mandatory industry process that helps reduce spam and improve message delivery.

Examples of how to ask users to opt in:

  • Signing up at point of sale (POS) -

  • If a form or part of contract, you must provide a copy of the form

  • If collected verbally, you must provide a copt of the opt-in script read to the customer for consent to messaging:

Example: “Hello [customer name], thank you for calling [Company Name]. We can send you service information for appointments, follow-up, and account information via SMS.  Would this sms communication be of interest? (Y/N) If yes, I must let you know the following information. You may reply STOP to opt-out of future messages, or reply HELP for more information. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. We do not share or sell your information to third parties. You can review our privacy policy on our website [list website]. Do you agree to these terms?”

  • Entering a phone number through a website

  • Example: Customers opt-in by visiting www.examplewebsite.com, and adding their phone number. They then check a box agreeing to receive a text message from the example brand.

  • Note: if using a website to collect opt-in, please provide a direct link to the submission form. If this is missing, the campaign will reject.

Production Messages: Text Examples

Internal team example:

Hello [technician name], this is [office personnel name] customer canceled the appointment, please do not go to [address] [date, time]. Let me know if any questions. Thank you.

Appointment example:

Hello [customer name], this is [office personnel name], from [Company Name]. I am reaching out to remind you of your pest service on [date] [date] between [time range]. If you need to reschedule please call or text us at [phone number].

Reply STOP to opt out of future messages, or HELP for more information.

Thank you!

Account information example:

Hello [customer name], this is [office personnel name], from [Company Name]. I am reaching out to you because your warranty has recently expired at the property of [address]. You can renew your warranty for the next year for {$cost], just give our office a call at [phone number]. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Reply STOP to opt out of future messages, or HELP for more information.
